This summer, for a week, I volunteered at The North Park Village Nature Center Eco Explorers Camp with 9 and 10-year-old campers. I had an amazing time teaching the campers about animals, plants, and the environment. They spent their days running around the nature center, playing games, searching for animals in the pond, and remembering all of their adventures in their nature journals. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the kids and helping them connect with nature. I think it's so important to help kids find something that they truly enjoy, that is unique and interesting for them. I'm so glad if I could help even one of the campers find that at the Nature Center.
